You will be part of the Customer Support department for the Electro-Optical Testing (EOT) product line, which includes equipment for characterizing and calibrating optronic devices (IR, visible light, low-light, laser telemetry) for defense, space and research clients
You will be involved in pre- and post-sales support for our solutions offered to customers in the North America region.
More specifically:
You will work in HGH USA team (based in Richardson (TEXAS)).
You will play an active role in carrying out pre-sales demonstrations in the North America region in support to the commercial team.
Working with local technical partners, you will carry out first-level local maintenance.
Working with head office teams, you will take part in the commissioning of equipment for our customers.
You will then train users on the products (software and hardware), to ensure they get the most out of them;
You provide technical support in the event of hardware failure, either remotely or on site;
As part of the development of our new service offering, you will monitor existing products to ensure an optimum level of service (checking equipment, planning and monitoring after-sales returns, software updates, etc.).
On arrival, you will follow a structured training course on our products, processes and applications. A training period of 6 months at headquarters (in Igny (France)) will be scheduled before deployment in Richardson (TEXAS).
In the course of your career, you may have the opportunity to work on the company's other product lines (industrial thermography, panoramic surveillance cameras (Spynel)).
Profil recherché
With 5 years' higher education (engineer or equivalent) and a generalist background (preferably in optics or electronics), your technical skills will give you a solid foundation for your work.
A significant degree of mobility is expected for this position: you may be required to travel throughout the region (Canada and USA mainly).
Fluent English is therefore essential for oral and written communication with your English-speaking customers.
As a hands-on person, you enjoy investing your technical skills in the implementation of products. Passionate, curious, rigorous, autonomous and a good teacher, you are also recognized for your interpersonal skills and your team spirit.
